Hello everyone at MVAH- I would like to thank all of you for the great care you provided my beloved black lab, Stellar. He loved going to the vet to visit and get treats! Stellar was put to rest September 23 and is deeply missed. I will miss not making our annual visits, and other visits for ear infections, allergies, etc., to MVAH. The day I get another animal, you can be sure I’ll be back. I’ll miss all of you and thanks again for all the years of wonderful care. (Especially Mary Kay who Stellar was very fond of.) Yours truly, Shannon

Thank you all for the love and compassion I felt when I brought my beloved cat, Mittens, in on May 19, 2007 to be euthanized due to chronic renal failure. I knew at age 16 our days together may be getting shorter and tried to brace myself, but when the actual time came, it was very difficult. I picked his ashes up on May 29 and he now rests in a cute orange tabby statue that looks just like him. Your compassion extended to the beautiful lavendar rose and card I received later that day. I was so touched in my spirit. The rose is still blooming beautifully. I went to Michaels and purchased a cloth one just like it to put by Mittens on the mantel. I have already recommended you to several friends. May God richly bless you and yours and open many doors to you. Peace, Sandy 🙂

It’s been two years since we lost Maggie to cancer, but our very thankful that we had a vet we could trust and did everything possible to try to help. Our kids miss her the most and have been asking about getting another dog. We’re trying to do as much research as we can on different breeds and when we find our next pup, we’ll be coming back to you. Nice website!

Hello everyone at Mounds View Veterinary Hospital, We had a dog show at Land O’Lakes yesterday, and someone asked me where they should take their new puppy…I of course referred them to you! I am Taylor’s mom Kim Dandenau, saying hello, miss you all, and every time I drive near, or by there, its like my car wants to turn in, but I feel quite foolish with no dog in tow! I have fond memories of my visits, and I know that Taylor LOVED coming there, and loved to sniff and walk around the yard and pond. Thanks again, a year and 3/4 later, for all you did for her in her too short of a life….her last days especially were good because she really did like coming to the vet…I know you all made that possible by being who you are , each and every one of you….and thank you Dr. Barcus for taking such an interest in her…I hope that other Boxer owners can benefit from things Taylor showed us all. I can not drive by without thinking of her bounding in the door, or slobbering and wiggling her way through the lobby….thanks for the website, it gave me a way of saying hello! I am referring some one to you and we pulled this up….just wanted to say hi….! And a Big THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! Taylor’s mom, Kim Dandeneau

It’s been over a year since I brought my cat, Salem, to Dr. Barcus. I had been instructed by my previous vet on June 5, 2007 that there was nothing that could be done for Salem and he would need to be euthanized. Salem was only 3 years old and was suffering from chylothorax as a result of having Feline Leukemia. Dr. Barcus drained the fluid around his lungs and put him on two medications for the cancer. I know that Salem will not live to be an old cat, but he is currently doing just wonderful. I have enjoyed an entire year and half more with my special friend thanks to Dr. Barcus. He is a very knowledgeable veterinarian that has such compassion for the pets he treats. THANK YOU!!!! Lana Anderson, Elk Mound, Wisconsin

Hello to everyone at Mounds View Animal Hospital. I wanted to take a minute to thank you for the care you’ve given to my crazy Yellow Lab Sammy Sunshine. She’s stayed with you on many occasions when I’ve been out of town and has been under your care with the doctors when needed. It means alot to me that you all treat her so well. The level of compassion and professionalism is comforting. I appreciate all of you for what you do for my good Buddy. Thank you.

I just met you all today when I brought Sneek in for an exam for his issue of a foreign object in his tummy. I am still in awe of your practice. I’ve told my family and friends all about you already – and it’s only been a few hours since I left. I’ve had a good experience with another vet and also frequented the U for help with Sneek’s issue. Somewhere along the line they recommended your clinic for help. The kindness, thoroughness, patience and overall supportive service everyone of you gave was AMAZING. I knew right away I brought Sneek to the right clinic for help. Sneek is scheduled for treatment tomorrow and although I miss him tonight, I have the confidence that he is in great hands through the process he’ll encounter. I feel very lucky right now that Sneek and I crossed your path. Thank you for listening, caring and helping in all that you do. It is a gift.

After 21 years of Vet care for my dogs I believe the Vets to be the best. When Rommel died this month I was angry with the world. How could this happen to my best friend that I loved so much. When the flowers were delivered from the MV Animal Hospital I looked at the beautiful yellow rose and thought…”the yellow rose of Texas”. I decided to pick up a dog that has been in a shelter in Texas since March. Thank You, Andrea

Dear Dr. Barcus and the Whole Staff, We would like to thank you all for the great care, as well as caring, you all have shown over the years. Our Annie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge October 4th and is now running and playing again as she did in her puppy years. We are lost without our ever present helper at our side. Time will heal the hurting and slowly be replaced by the happy and comical memories of Annie, as it should be. Her littermate, Samantha, is working through her grieving process also and is handling it better than expected. Quiet Sam has taken on many of Annie’s roles already, we’re sure for her own well-being, as well as her companions. Thank you again for all of your compassionate care through Annie’s 14 years of joy. Bob & Jen (& Cheryl) Borowick

I just want to say Thank-You to Dr. Barcus and the whole crew at MVAH for loving all of the fuzzy kids that walk through your doors, along with their human counterparts. The knowledge and compassion of Dr. Barcus is second to none. He helped us provide our Annie girl with the medications and information we needed to make sure she was comfortable and happy in her twilight years. If Annie could speak she would say, “Thank You Dr. BARK!” Sincerely, Jennifer, Bob & Cheryl Borowick

Just wanted to leave a quick thank you for taking such good care of Barnaby while our home was being repaired. I know he can be pretty high strung around all the other cats and appreciate your patience with him. He’s in great health and happy to be home with his big brother Simba! Thanks again, Sarah Edwards 🙂

Hi! Just wanted to wish you all a very blessed time celebrating Jesus’ birthday! Maxie is doing great and growing wonderfully. She is so loving. Just saw Shelly’s kitties, Twixie (Maxie’s sister) and Whopper. Whopper is MASSIVE! The name fits him! They are also doing fine and best budds with each other. Anyway, much peace, joy, health, happiness, blessings, prosperity, and fun in 2012! Thanks for all you have done for our family. 🙂

Thank you Dr Femrite and staff for taking such wonderful care of Tucker following his being attacked. You all made such an effort to put him and us at ease, immediately following the attack and in the weeks after. He is doing wonderful and healing , still a bit stiff at times after stitches came out , but all in due time.

Hi Dr. Barcus, Pascual, Frankie, and me wanted to Thank you for the care you give our pampered pets…. but especially the care you gave Wags in her last days. You know how much she meant to us. I can’t tell you how much the flowers and card you and your staff sent meant to us. The fact that each and every one of you took the time to sign the card was such a nice touch. You might not realize this, but getting her little box of ashes back home to us so soon (less than a week)was just one more way that you showed such love and respect for our little girl. You and your Pet Hospital are a Class Act! Thanks again. Karen, Pascual, Wags, and Frankie
