Animal Care from the Heart! We treat your pets as if they were our own!

Canine Influenza Update

Effective 7/1/23 we will be requiring Canine Influenza Vaccination for all dogs boarding at MVAH.

As many of you know, there is a continued outbreak of Canine Influenza (CI) in the Twin Cities area. CI is a highly contagious disease that can cause serious illness in some dogs. Vaccination reduces the risk of your dog contracting the disease (also known as dog flu) and helps prevent its transmission to other dogs. Vaccination is safe and effective.

If your pet does any of these activities, they are at higher risk of contracting an upper respiratory infection including Canine Influenza.

Animal Care from the Heart

why is my vet so busy

Thank you!

Your pet is a part of the family, and when your pet needs care you want the same quality and personalized care you would get from your family physician.

At Mounds View Animal Hospital we believe in “Animal Care From the Heart”—an approach that means we really do care about your pet. When your pets are in our care, you can rest assured that we will treat them as if they were our own.

Since our pets are unable to tell us when and where there is a problem, they rely on us to know when there is something wrong. We believe that it’s vital to take the time to really listen to your questions and concerns in order to best help you and your pet. Since it’s important for you to know as much as possible about your pet’s problem, we will carefully explain the situation and what needs to be done, as well as describing all the available options.

Mounds View Animal Hospital’s staff of well trained and experienced veterinary professionals are dedicated to providing your pets with the best possible care so that they may live long, happy and healthy lives. We believe that the best way to do this is by regular preventive care which includes annual examinations, vaccinations, fecal checks, and heartworm checks. However, should your pet become ill or injured, our state- of-the-art equipment and facilities will enable us to provide the care your pet may need in one convenient location.
